This instant poha dosa is a game-changer for busy mornings โ€” no fermentation needed! Made with simple ingredients like poha, rava, and yogurt, it turns out crispy outside and soft inside in just 10 minutes.

Steps

  1. Soak poha, rava, yogurt, salt, and 2 cups water together in a bowl
  2. Mix everything nicely and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. For chutney, add coconut, red chillies, roasted chana dal, garlic, tamarind, salt, and half cup water to a blender
  4. Blend into a smooth creamy chutney and set aside
  5. Blend the soaked poha-rava mixture into a smooth batter
  6. Transfer batter to a bowl and add 1 tsp eno
  7. Mix the eno nicely into the batter
  8. Heat a tawa and pour the batter, spreading slightly to make a thick dosa
  9. Sprinkle some oil on top, close the lid, and cook on medium flame
  10. After a minute, flip the dosa and cook on the other side
  11. Serve hot with coconut chutney
