Air Fryer Salmon with Moong Sprouts Khichdi
This balanced, high-protein comfort meal combines crispy air-fried salmon with nutritious moong sprouts khichdi. Light yet satisfying, it's perfect for a wholesome lunch or dinner.
Steps
- Season salmon fillet with salt, lemon juice, paprika, pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and oil, massaging spices on both sides.
- Air fry salmon at 320°F for 20 minutes until crispy outside and cooked through.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add dried red chilies and cumin seeds.
- Add chopped onion and cook for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and sauté.
- Add soaked toor dal and sauté briefly.
- Add 1 cup moong sprouts and sauté for a minute.
- Add 1 cup soaked rice and 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
- Add turmeric powder, chili flakes, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt, mixing well.
- Add water and bring to a boil, then add one more cup of water.
- Close lid and cook in rice mode for 12 minutes until done.
- Serve hot khichdi with a spoon of butter, air fried salmon, cucumber slices, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
