Bakery-Style Chicken Puff Pastry

Flaky, crispy, and cheesy chicken puff pastry made bakery-style at home. This easy snack recipe is perfect for tea time, parties, or evening cravings.

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, sauté until soft and golden
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until raw smell disappears
  3. Add shredded chicken and sauté well
  4. Add salt, coriander powder, paprika, oregano, sumac, and sour cream, mix well
  5. Add green bell pepper and red bell pepper, sauté until cooked
  6. Add half a cup of cheese and mix until filling is ready
  7. Cut puff pastry sheets into squares
  8. Place a spoonful of chicken filling in the center of each square
  9. Fold and seal the edges, press gently with a fork
  10. Brush the top with milk or egg wash
  11. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top
  12. Bake at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes until golden
  13. Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney
