Bakery-Style Chicken Puff Pastry
Flaky, crispy, and cheesy chicken puff pastry made bakery-style at home. This easy snack recipe is perfect for tea time, parties, or evening cravings.
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, sauté until soft and golden
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until raw smell disappears
- Add shredded chicken and sauté well
- Add salt, coriander powder, paprika, oregano, sumac, and sour cream, mix well
- Add green bell pepper and red bell pepper, sauté until cooked
- Add half a cup of cheese and mix until filling is ready
- Cut puff pastry sheets into squares
- Place a spoonful of chicken filling in the center of each square
- Fold and seal the edges, press gently with a fork
- Brush the top with milk or egg wash
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top
- Bake at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes until golden
- Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney
