Crispy Bakery-Style Egg Puffs
Flaky on the outside, spicy and flavorful inside — these bakery-style egg puffs are super easy to make at home. Perfect for tea time, parties, or when cravings hit!
Steps
- Boil eggs, peel, and cut them in half.
- Sprinkle salt and chili powder on the egg halves and set aside.
- In a pan, fry ginger and garlic until golden brown.
- Add onion and fry until softened.
- Add sugar, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala.
- Add green peas and mix well. The filling is ready.
- Cut puff pastry into squares.
- Place egg and masala filling in the center of each square.
- Fold and seal the edges gently.
- Brush with milk or egg wash.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm.
