Crispy Potato Cheese Hearts
These crispy potato cheese hearts are golden outside and gooey inside — the perfect quick snack for parties, Valentine treats, or evening cravings. Made with simple spices and cheese stuffing, you can bake or fry them based on your preference.
Steps
- Boil and mash 3 medium potatoes
- Mix mashed potatoes with butter, salt, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and chaat masala
- Take a portion of potato mixture and flatten it in your palm
- Place cheese cubes or shredded cheese in the center
- Shape into hearts (or desired shape) and seal edges
- Coat each piece with cornstarch or flour
- Roll in breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes until fully coated
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes or deep fry in oil until golden and crisp
