Homemade Chicken Momos

These juicy homemade chicken momos are packed with flavor and served with a delicious soy-sesame dipping sauce. Perfect for snacks, appetizers, or family gatherings!

Steps

  1. Add ground chicken to a mixing bowl
  2. Crack and add 1 egg to the bowl
  3. Add 1 tbsp minced garlic and 1 tbsp minced ginger
  4. Add chopped onion and mixed vegetables
  5. Add black pepper, chili flakes (if using), cilantro, and spring onions
  6. Add dark soy sauce, oyster-flavored sauce, and hoisin sauce
  7. Add salt to taste and mix all ingredients together thoroughly
  8. Cut dumpling sheets into quarters if needed
  9. Wet the edges of each wrapper slightly with water
  10. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wrapper and fold into desired shape (round, triangle, etc.)
  11. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat
  12. Place dumplings in the pan carefully
  13. Add 1/2 cup water to the pan and immediately cover with lid
  14. Cook for 10 minutes until done
  15. For dipping sauce: combine 2 tbsp soy sauce, sesame seeds, pinch of salt, chili flakes, and honey
  16. Add chopped spring onions to the sauce and mix well
  17. Carefully remove cooked momos from pan and serve hot with dipping sauce
